Centre For Positive Health Organization (CEPHO)

The Centre for Positive Health Organization (CEPHO) is a woman-led, youth- and community-focused civil society organization committed to inclusivity, equity, and transformative gender-responsive approaches. As a non-lucrative, community-based, and non-governmental organization, CEPHO advances health equity, social justice, and empowerment for marginalized and vulnerable communities.

Founded on May 15, 2007, and officially registered with Nigeria’s Corporate Affairs Commission on February 17, 2008, CEPHO began as a support group providing psychosocial support, nutritional aid, adherence counseling, Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights (SRHR) services, empowerment, and assistance to people living with HIV, key and vulnerable populations, TB-affected communities, orphans, vulnerable children, displaced individuals, and adolescent girls and young women from diverse backgrounds.

With a steadfast commitment to gender equality and human rights, CEPHO operates under the principle "nothing for us without us," ensuring that inclusive governance amplifies the voices of those we serve. Approximately 90% of our leadership comprises individuals from marginalized communities, highlighting our dedication to community-driven initiatives and equitable universal healthcare access. Through holistic, community-based interventions, CEPHO addresses critical health disparities, strengthens resilience, and fosters safe, supportive environments for all.
